荷兰乌德勒支大学应用伦理学院（人文学院）和动物医学院副教授。主要致力于动物使用和动物医学伦理、农业和食品伦理、以及公众信任和公众讨论在这些领域的作用等方面的研究。现任European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics副主席、Royal Dutch Veterinary Society伦理委员会主席、Centre for Sustainable Animal Stewardship负责人、National Council of Animal Affairs of the Netherlands 和Supervisory Board of theNational Animal Welfare Society等协会成员、SSCI期刊Agricultural and Environmental Ethics编辑、SSCI期刊Agriculture and Human Values以及Food Ethics编辑委员会成员。
